3.Can the industry terminate the agreement with the student at any time?
Yes, we have industry partners serving both on our in-state Advisory Board and our National Visiting Committee. In state, they have provided help with curriculum development, have sponsored students for paid internships and provided scholarships, and they have hosted Advisory Board meetings to save the project money. Our NVC members have brought an industry perspective to overall project management and direction. We had hoped that industry partners would become spokespersons for the project, but we have not been successful in engaging them in this way. Their own company agendas always take precedence.
